Rahul Tewatia – Biography
Rahul Tewatia (born 20 May 1993) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Haryana in the domestic cricket and Gujarat Titans in Indian Premier League (IPL).
Rahul Tewatia is a traditional spinner who prefers to give the ball some air rather than pressure. He made his Ranji Trophy debut for Haryana against Karnataka in 2013. Like many struggling players, Rahul’s fortunes changed when he was selected for the Indian Premier League.
He will play the paddles and scoops as he is a wrist spinner and an incredibly useful lower-order batsman. And Tewatia, as a whole, is a well-rounded and valuable player for any IPL team. The Delhi franchise chose him over ace senior bowler Mishra in the last edition. The swap looked reasonable at first, but his performance quickly deteriorated and Mishra was replaced.

Rahul Tewatia Controversy
During the infamous match against SRH which made Rahul Tewatia popular, Tewatia also had an on-field spat with SRH bowler Khaleel Ahmed.
This happened during the last few overs of the game as both were seen arguing with each other after Khaleel came between Rahul’s running trajectory.
After the match, SRH Captain David Warner arrived to diffuse the situation and sort out whatever fight they had. He was helped by the Umpires.
When asked about his spat with Khaleel, Tewatia simply said that it was nothing of much consequence, they were both just lost in the heat of the moment.
