Rinku Singh was born on 12 October 1997 in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India. His father name is Khanchandra Singh and his mother name is Vina Devi. He has a brother and a sister. His brother name is Jeetu Singh and his sister name is Neha
Rinku Sing hails from a humble background where his father is an LPG delivery man and another side his brother is an Auto Rikshaw driver.
There are nine members of his family and they all lives in a small two-room house located in the compound of LPG distribution company.
He is a ninth fail and never could develop an interest towards the study. He just follows the cricket and wants to play for Indian National Cricket team.
He played nine Ranji Trophy matches for Uttar Pradesh team and scored 692 runs with an average of 49.
He won a Motor Bike as a Man-of-the- series award in a tournament in Delhi.
He represented Uttar Pradesh team in all three formats in the various category including Under 16, Under 19, Under 23 levels.
In 2017, Kings XI Punjab bought him for the base price but unfortunately, he didn’t get chance to play in a single match even.
On May 30, 2019, Singh was handed a three-month suspension by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) after he participated in the Ramadan T20 tournament in Abu Dhabi without seeking prior permission to play.

Rinku Singh IPL Career
In February 2017, he was bought by the Kings XI Punjab team for the 2017 Indian Premier League.In January 2018, he was bought with the worth of 80 lakh by the Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2018 IPL auction.
Rinku was ruled out of the 2021 Indian Premier League due to a knee injury and he was later replaced by Gurkeerat Singh Mann.
In February 2022, he was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders in the auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League tournament. In this year’s tournament match, he got his first Man of the Match award with a cheque of one lakh for 42 runs in 23 balls with a strike-rate of 182.61 against Rajasthan Royals.
Rinku Singh is an Indian cricketer who currently plays for Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League and Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket. He is a left-handed top-order batsman and a right-handed off-spinner. On April 9, 2023, Rinku achieved a record-breaking feat in an IPL match against Gujarat Titans, smashing 05 sixes in the final over to successfully chase down 29 runs – the highest-ever chase in the last over in the tournament history.
